Rubab Hassan received her Master of Psychology (M.S Clinical) degree from Bahria University Islamabad, Pakistan. She got her Master of Psychology (Applied) degree from International Islamic University. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology, Botany, Zoology)(First Class Honors) from Punjab University. She is a member of the Pakistan Association of Clinical Psychologists (PACP) Pakistan, Transformation International Society (TIS) and is also a member of National Guild of Hypnosis (NGH), U.S.A.

She started her career as an intern for the fulfillment of her degree (M.SC Applied Psychology) at Wada Clinic for drug addicts in Rawalpindi Pakistan, where she gained extensive experience in working with individuals who struggle with substance dependence and withdrawal symptoms. After that she applied in Armed Forces Institute of Mental Health (AFIMH) Rawalpindi where she learned to take detailed history, diagnosis and counseling skills in guided supervision of mental health professionals. The main problems identified were stress, loneliness, sleep, addictions, interpersonal problems, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation.

She is culturally sensitive given her potpourri of experience living and working across different countries and cultures. Rubab is a mother of two sons she adores her family. The child psychologist inside her admits to making mistakes at home, but she says with self-compassion that knowing is very different than doing. “Being a mother is the toughest job”. In her spare time, Rubab enjoys visiting relatives and friends, walking, and watching movies.

She provides therapy in English, Urdu and Punjabi.
